Lady Gaga x Terry Richardson is a photographic glimpse into the woman behind the meat-wearing, coffin-bearing, gregariously surreal pop singer. It launched yesterday at the New Museum, much to the delight of New York’s Little Monsters.

This hardback begins with a short address, entitled “Terry And Me,” which talks of the bond the two of them forged while Mr. Richardson was shadowing Ms. Gaga.

“I am so real, he says, that I am unreal,” she writes.

Fans of the ever philosophical Mr. Richardson will be pleased to hear that he appears in the book as well, sometimes right next to his new found friend and muse.

But this leaves us asking, who took those photos and why isn’t their name in the title? Enjoy.
