Click on any given year: You’ll see where Nirvana played and any available video. After a slow start, the band’s reach grew exponentially (for 1992, the map zooms all the way out and shows us the whole world) just as Cobain’s own world began to constrict. The last clip takes us to Nirvana’s last concert, in Munich, in March 1994; a month later, the singer was dead.
