TRENTON – The state has unveiled its final Energy Master Plan, which keeps the renewable goal at 22.5 percent, down from 30 percent; and fulfill 70 percent of the state’s electric needs from “clean” energy sources by 2050.

However, the plan says this is achievable if “the definition of clean energy is broadened beyond renewables to include nuclear, natural gas, and hydroelectric facilities.”
