For years, the fashion blog Nerd Boyfriend has been a secret pleasure even for those who don’t care about fashion but just like looking at photos of artists, writers and filmmakers. But it was always sad that there was no female equivalent, as if women were somehow excluded from the category of attractive nerd, as if there were no female fashion icons who were renowned for their brains as much as their bodies. Perhaps it was simply a question of buying a domain name.
Now a link has recently appeared on Nerd Boyfriend that says merely “Girls” and leads to a new web site, Nerd Girlfriend. And who else to lead the site but comedian Gilda Ratner? All is right in the world.
