Isaac Newton’s alma mater, Cambridge University, has the “most important and substantial collection of Newton’s scientific and mathematical manuscripts.” Now a substantial portion of those manuscripts is available for public viewing online.
The university’s digital holdings include college journals, notebooks, waste books, working drafts, and a treasure trove of miscellaneous writings. There are thousands of full-color pages to flip though and zoom in on, and Cambridge says it will make many more available in the months to come.
