Today is Boxing Day, which for us Yanks means a day off work. For good Commonwealth citizens, however, Boxing Day is really the second day of Christmas! That means yet another day of family fun, fox hunting, horse racing and prize fighting. While we can’t seem to find our pack of loyal hounds, we won’t be deterred from reconnecting with our Anglo roots. Today we’re heading to Tea & Sympathy, vaunted Redcoat haunt of the West Village. Fancying some mince pies and plum pudding? Bangers ’n’ mash or Eton mess, perhaps? Look no further, ye Brit-loving feasters! Join us as we taste the full continuum of absurdly named casseroles and cakes to satisfy our long slumbering Limey palate. We’ll finish our meal off with a pot o’ tea (this is exhausting) before hitting the pubs and causing a well-mannered ruckus.
