TRENTON – The Senate passed S-3079, allowing the creation of the New Jersey Business Action Center (BAC).
The bill passed, 34-3.
The BAC is envisioned as the State’s liaison to the business community to provide information on state financial and incentive programs; State taxes; permits, licenses, certificates, other governmental-approvals; State regulations; available commercial real estate, and international trade.
The bill requires the BAC to provide, upon request and free of charge, businesses within the State that have fewer than 99 employees individualized competitive intelligence information.
