TRENTON – A bill to bar new employees of certain groups from enrolling in the state retirement system passed unanimously in the Assembly today.

S2100/A2499: Assemblyman Gary Chiusano said the bill was good but does not go far enough and should include members of the N.J. Education Association, among others.

The bill passed 76-0-0.
