TRENTON – The Urban Hope Act – a major education initiative targeting three troubled school districts – was passed by the Assembly this evening
S3173/A4426 would allow non-profits to build and run schools in Trenton, Camden, and Newark. The bill has been heavily amended since its introduction.
The Senate passed its version earlier in the day.
