Betty Lou DeCroce announced today that she had earned the endorsements of Sen. Joe Pennacchio and Assemblyman Jay Webber in her bid to fill the Assembly vacancy in the 26th Legislative District at a multi-county Republican County Committee Convention to be held next week.
“Betty Lou’s vast private and public sector experience will allow her to hit the ground running in Trenton and effectively represent the residents of the 26th Legislative District in Trenton,” said Pennacchio, Mr. DeCroce’s longtime running mate. “I strongly urge members of the Republican County Committee to support her at the upcoming convention.”
“I have known Betty Lou for years and I would be honored to serve with someone of her caliber in the State Assembly,” said Webber. “I am confident she will be a partner with me in continuing to restore fiscal discipline to state government and creating an environment that allows us to create private sector jobs and grow our economy.”
“I want to thank both Joe and Jay for their support and friendship,” said DeCroce. “Along with Alex, they formed a potent team for the 26th Legislative District, and I would be honored to continue that tradition of exemplary public service.”
