Bergen County this week mourned the loss of Maryann Lamber, vice chairwoman of the Bergen County Republican Organization, who died Wednesday after a long illness.
“Maryann was for so many years an important contributor to the operations of the BCRO and a dynamic supporter of many Republican officeholders,” said Bob Yudin, chairman of the BCRO. “As the former Executive Director of the BCRO, she was the familiar voice on the other end of the phone and the smiling face you met at the door. Her support of Republican candidates and issues was unwavering and her work ethic was admirable She donated countless hours to make BCRO events successful and she will be missed.”
