Upstate Congressman and infamous tickler Eric Massa may have resigned almost two full years ago when accused of allegedly groping his male staffers, but he continues to pay his wife a regular $1,700 monthly salary to manage his inactive campaign account, according to campaign finance reports.

The only financial activities in his account this quarter were expenditures, and they were minimal outside of her salary: payroll processing fees (for his wife), $500 in legal fees, and a few dollars to Verizon for a telephone. Gannett noted this continuing phenomenon six months ago as well.
