Following a judge’s decision rendering the outcome of her close election invalid, veteran Morris County Freeholder Margaret Nordstrom won’t pursue re-election.

But the man who gnawed away at her re-election bid long enough to force court intervention will run.

Tea Party challenger Hank Lyon (pictured) plans to seek the party’s nomination at an as-yet unscheduled convention, which is constitutionally required to occur 35 days from the judge’s decision last Tuesday, according to Morris County GOP Chairman John Sette.

Sette was in Trenton today attending the swearing-in ceremony of Assemblywoman Betty Lou DeCroce (R-26).
