Sources say law enforcement authorities served subpoenas this morning against the North Bergen Department of Public Works.
A source told PolitickerNJ.com that the subpoenas concern DPW Director Jim Wiley allegedly ordering township workers to work on his house on township time.
Wiley is the father of West New York Commissioner Count Wiley.
“The State Attorney General’s office executed a search warrant this morning at the North Bergen Department of Public Works offices on Tonnelle Avenue and removed records and documents,” said North Bergen Twp. Spokesman Phil Swibinski. “The township is fully cooperating with state authorities. No further information is available at this time.”
