Chopped Chef’s Blood Boils Over Goldman Guys Reno

There’s a legal dispute – affluent term for war – on the Upper West Side! Winner of Food Network’s Chopped, Jackie Lee, wants Goldman Sachs partner Timothy Kingston to pay for her temporary housing as he renovates his townhouse on 48 West 75th Street, the Post reports.

“Don’t tell me you don’t have enough money to accommodate us during your construction,” Ms. Lee barked at the banker. Mr. Kingston has made compromises, installing soundproofing and air purifier and hiring a cleaning crew. But the chef is still steamed.

Her Chopped self-description is quite telling of her personality:

I don’t care if you’re a man, woman or iguana, I’m not threatened by anyone and I’m ready to compete in the kitchen.

Clearly she’s ready to compete out of the kitchen as well.

I find myself waking up in the middle of the night with an idea for a dish that I must make the next day.

Are you sure you wake up because of the idea or all of the banging and ruckus from Kingston’s apartment?

Regardless, that’s one less neighbor Lee can ask when she needs to borrow a cup of sugar!
