Third Congressional District candidate Shelley Adler announced today that she earned a spot on the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee’s (DCCC) Red-to-Blue program.
The Democrat challenging U.S. Rep. Jon Runyan (R-3) said she surpassed demanding fundraising, organizing, and infrastructure goals.
“I am honored that so many people in New Jersey’s 3rd Congressional District have joined our grass-roots campaign to create jobs, stand up for middle-class families, protect Medicare and Social Security and reignite the American dream,” said Adler. “The early strength we have demonstrated by being named to the Red-to-Blue program means we have the support, confidence, and momentum it takes to win in November.”
“Shelley Adler brings a fresh approach and is committed to fighting for the middle class and seniors’ healthcare. Shelley is building a tremendous, grass-roots campaign that focuses on creating good jobs and investing in middle-income families and offers a strong alternative to the extreme, out-of-touch Republican agenda that ends Medicare just to give out tax breaks to billionaires,” said DCCC Chairman Steve Israel (D-NY).
