The Neuberger Museum of Art in Purchase, N.Y., has hired Paola Morsiani, the curator of contemporary art the Cleveland Museum of Art, as its new director, reports Cleveland’s The Plain Dealer. Ms. Morsiani will begin in her new position July 1, according to The New York Times. Though she is from Venice, Italy, it is something of a homecoming for her, since she earned an M.A. in arts administration from New York University.

Part of the State University of New York’s Purchase College, the Neuberger Museum now has on view an exhibition of work by Kiki Smith called “Visionary Sugar.” The museum is located less than a mile from PepsiCo’s Donald M. Kendall Sculpture Gardens. Why not grab the car and make a day trip of it?
