In Bangkok, porn has invaded the halls of power. A half-naked woman earned 15 seconds of fame last week when a picture of her masturbating in nothing but a white shirt appeared on a monitor during a session of the Thai Parliament “in three intervals of five seconds each, alternating with the picture of MPs in the House chamber deliberating the charter amendment bill.”
Parliament staff have been cleared of wrongdoing by a “technical probe,” reports the Bangkok Post, leaving one possible explanation: A hacker with a Samsung Galaxy Note or Samsung Galaxy Tab. The one-hour investigation must have had House employees quivering, as Thailand ostensibly has a conservative government that censors porn on the Internet along with content deemed subversive to the monarchy. The Thai government monitors subversive content on Facebook and Twitter as well.
Luckily for House staff, none had porn beam-enabled phones.
The best part of this story was that one member of Parliament was caught looking at porn on his phone by a photographer on the same day. The incidents appear to be unrelated, as this representative is using an iPhone, which was determined to be insufficiently equipped for porn beaming. With so many distractions of the flesh, it’s a wonder Thailand passes any laws.
