Not since Barbara Bush’s dog Millie got an as-told-to memoir published has a dog’s tale been so anticipated as the upcoming Uggie autobiography. Uggie, the dog from The Artist, has been on a publicity spree that has taken him to the top of the Empire State Building and to the White House Correspondents’ Dinner. The book is to be published by Gallery Books and “dictated” to Wendy Holden (a Cambridge-educated chick-lit author).
