TRENTON – The Senate voted unanimously, 34-0, to release a bill allowing electronic gaming on mobile devices to take place within an approved hotel.
The bill, S1323, states that player must set up an account with the casino where the wager is placed by and paid to the patron in person within the hotel.
The bill, sponsored by Sen. Jim Whelan (D-2) of Atlantic City, also states that the mobile gaming device cannot be functioning outside the hotel.
