TRENTON – Lou Greenwald is not impressed.
At least not with the governor’s rhetoric.
Gov. Christie tore into the budget chief of the Office of Legislative Services today over the accuracy of revenue projections, then said he remains fully committed to tax cuts – and by no means will Christie budge on the Assembly Democrats’ plan to assess a tax on millionaires.
But Assembly Majority Leader Greenwald reacted succinctly to Christie’s latest remarks:
“If he stomps his feet I feel the quake but I don’t shake.”
Greenwald said there is no compromise in the works now regarding their budget and tax cut plans.
