Pipilotti Rist has been named the BAZAAR Art 2012 International Artist of the Year, according to the artist’s gallery Hauser & Wirth. The award was presented at the 2012 Hong Kong BAZAAR Art Night at Art HK 12 and co-hosted by MoMA PS1 director Klaus Biesenbach and Richard Chang of the Domus Collection in Beijing. The award goes each year to “an artist who has contributed significantly to the international arts community in the past year.”
