In this morning’s Quinnipiac University poll, 53% of 1,582 registered voters approve of Gov. Chris Christie, and 39% disapprove.
Fifty-four percent approve of President Barack Obama, and 41% disapprove.
“It’s interesting. Obama is, without a doubt, the best campaigner we’ve seen in a long time. Christie does know how to keep himself favorably in front of people,” said poll director Maurice Carroll. “They’re both just plain excellent at projecting themselves and telling people who they are.”
