TRENTON – Judiciary Committee Chair Sen. Nicholas Scutari pressed state Supreme Court nominee Bruce Harris on the fact he did not acknowledge on a questionnaire that he was involved in litigation when he actually is involved in a case.

Harris said at the time he filled out those forms he was not involved as a litigant, and when Scutari pointed out he had 30 days to amend the questionnaire if his status changed, Harris replied that his involvement is not as a private citizen but in his capacity as Chatham mayor.

The case involves the location of a treatment center in the borough, and Harris said he will have to appear for a deposition in the matter. Scutari presses Harris over involvement in legal case
