Gothamist reports that renaissance man James Franco has planned an invite-only event for the New Museum this Saturday. Details remain sketchy, but it reportedly involves a psychic named Gemma Deller.
The event is said to be the debut party for Mr. Franco’s latest contribution to THE THING quarterly, a switchblade that honors his diseased friend, the actor Brad Renfro.
Gothamist is the only outlet reporting this, and normally we’d be dubious but, if anything, psychic knives sound pretty tame for Mr. Franco. So, there you are.
