The Camden County Republican Committee reorganized Monday evening, and re-elected its current Chairman, Tom Booth of Voorhees, to a full two-year term.
Booth took over the CCGOP last year following former Chairman Rick DeMichele’s ouster and resignation halfway through his two-year term.
Last night Booth faced off against Joe Adolf of Berlin Boro, who challenged for the chairmanship. In the end, Booth carried the vote, 83-32, against the former mayor of Magnolia.
Last March, Booth, who operates his own law firm in his home town of Voorhees and is an Army Reserve Major, soundly defeated Stu Alterman to finish out DeMichele’s unexpired term.
