Rocked by scandal in recent days, the Trenton Democratic Committee at its reorganizational meeting last night selected Raissa Walker as its new Chairwoman.
Walker was previously the 1st Vice Chair of the committee. She succeeds Alysia Welch-Chester, whom the committee removed amid allegations of Welch-Chester squirreling party funds.
“We are so excited to have Raissa as Chairwoman. Her vision and leadership is exactly what we need at this time,” said Terry West, the outgoing Acting Chairman.
