A few weeks ago, I mentioned how the NY Tech Meetup had spawned tech meetups all over the city from Long Island City (Queens) and Dumbo (Brooklyn) to Hoboken (New Jersey) and even as far as Stamford (Connecticut). In a similar vein, there are now tech breakfasts sprouting up everywhere.
It started off with the Dumbo Tech Breakfast (organized by James Dennis and Sean O’Connor). Now there’s one on the Upper West Side, another in the Village (this week on Friday) and, starting next week, a new one on the Upper East Side. Tech breakfasts are a terrific way to connect with other tech peeps in your n’hood in a more casual environment. So go check them out and maybe even start one yourself!
And now let’s see what’s going down in the Alley this week…
