In the vein of Dan Rather bringing his act from CBS to the AXS network (formerly HDNet), another old-time newsman is trying out this new media thing. Larry King’s new talk show, Larry King Now, has been licensed by the digital network Ora.TV and will air on Hulu. The site is trying to add yet more original content, much like Netflix, in order to differentiate themselves and perhaps to protect against the whims of larger content providers. Mr. King’s first week, starting next Monday, will feature Matthew McConaughey, Seth MacFarlane, and Meghan McCain. By comparison, Piers Morgan, who took over Mr. King’s timeslot on CNN, has recently featured John Leguizamo, Buzz Bissinger, and Patrick Kennedy.
