U.S. Rep. Bill Pascrell Jr., (D-9), announced today that Thomas Pietrykoski will be taking over as Communications Director. Pietrykoski succeeds Paul Brubaker, who was named Communications Director for U.S. Sen. Robert Menendez’s 2012 campaign.
“I couldn’t be more excited to have Tom join our staff,” said Pascrell. “Tom’s tireless community work in Bergen, Passaic and Hudson Counties, matched with his skills as a communications professional, will be a winning combination as part of our team. His leadership and experience as a dedicated public servant will be invaluable to me and my entire staff as we continue to fight for the interests of middle class Americans.”
Pietrykoski joins Pascrell’s staff after a nine-year career with the Passaic Valley Sewerage Commission (PVSC), most recently serving as Director of Public Affairs.
“I am excited for the opportunity to join Congressman Pascrell’s team and work alongside such a dedicated group of professionals,” said Pietrykoski. “I look forward to informing the public about Congressman Pascrell’s fight for all Northern New Jersey residents in Congress. I have long admired the Congressman’s advocacy for the middle class, his commitment to creating jobs, and his focus on standing up to support our veterans and first responders.”
Pietrykoski is originally from Bloomfield and lives in Essex County. He graduated from Montclair State University with a BS in Environmental Studies.
