TRENTON – Gov. Chris Christie said today during a public appearance in Manasquan that this week he would sign a solar energy bill passed by the Legislature in June.
The legislation, A2966/S1925, strives to do several things but basically it would require more renewable energy while trying to control costs.
Assemblyman Upendra Chivukula, (D-17), Franklin Township, said during a committee hearing early this month that he worked with the administration to craft a bill that could win acceptance.
