Prada-Schiaparelli Exhibit Was a Success, But Not a Blockbuster

The New York Times reports that the Metropolitan Museum of Art has wrapped up its “Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations” exhibition, and now has a final number of attendees for that show: 339,838. Though certainly an impressive turnout, that number means the show only saw half the attendees of last year’s “Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty,” which had 661,509 visitors.
