News broke last month that Unilever would withdraw its sponsorship of the Tate Modern’s annual Turbine Hall project in 2014 and now, The Art Newspaper reports, the museum is looking for other means of funding.

More from the piece:

Unilever has provided £4.4m sponsorship in total including a renewal deal of £2.2m for a period of five years agreed in 2008; the company will, meanwhile, continue as a corporate member of Tate.

“We will start discussions with other companies about the sponsorship of the Turbine Hall commission from 2014 onwards,” said a Tate spokeswoman.

Other prominent Tate sponsors include oil giant BP and the multinational media organisation Bloomberg.
