Three words that won’t be in the governor’s keynote address

NEW BRUNSWICK – Gov. Chris Christie gave an audience a tiny sneak peek into his keynote speech at the Republican National Convention next week.

The governor said anyone watching his keynote address can count on not hearing a particular phrase the executive has often repeated throughout the state.

“There are three words that are not in my speech,” Christie said.

“The Jersey comeback,” he said. “Those three words never were in and aren’t in.”

The governor offered the glimpse into his speech Wednesday after reaffirming that the New Jersey Comeback is going strong.

Christie has been slammed by Democrats recently who have called the state’s recent spike in unemployment proof that the governor’s proposals are failing New Jersey. Three words that won’t be in the governor’s keynote address
