A1400/S1879 – Concerns adding names of certain veterans to certain civil service eligibility lists. The purpose is to allow a member of the New Jersey National Guard who is called to active federal military service and who was on an active open competitive employment list prior to deployment which expired prior to returning home, to be placed on an active open competitive employment list that is identical to the list the person was on prior to being called to active federal military service. 

A1543/S742 – “Revised Uniform Limited Liability Company Act.” It repeals the “New Jersey Limited Liability Company Act,” and replaces it with a more modern regulatory scheme for the creation and operation of limited liability companies in New Jersey.

A2036/S715 – Requires private entity primarily engaged in business of providing transportation for passengers in wheelchairs to secure passengers in wheelchairs using four-point securement system and to secure unoccupied wheelchairs.

A2125/S2046 Eliminates requirement for cable TV companies to provide advance notification of price decreases or addition of channel offerings.

A2741/S318 – Provides that subcontractors who furnish non-specialty trade work shall not be named in local public bid documents.
