Joey Buttafuoco is going to write the sizzling memoir of the decade … too bad that decade is the ’90s!
According to TMZ, the mechanic who made Amy Fisher a household name in every house except his own is finally ready to come clean. That is, if anyone’s still listening.
The title of the memoir is Closure, though Mr. Buttafuoco’s main goal seems to be opening up old wounds. He has admitted that the book will likely hurt Ms. Fisher the most, though he isn’t above a cheap shot (so to speak) at his ex-wife Mary Jo Buttafuoco, whose own tell-all, Getting It Through My Thick Skull, was published in 2009.
Since he can’t top his ex in the punny title department, Mr. Buttafuoco–who served four months in jail on a statutory rape charge following the high-profile Fisher incident–is taking the high road. That’s probably why he won’t name the publisher of the novel or what he received to write it: because the last thing he wants is to make the ladies jealous.
That has to be it, right?
