Patrick Moore, who joined Pittsburgh’s Andy Warhol Museum in 2011 as director of development, has been promoted to deputy director. The promotion took effect on Friday, Sept. 1.
Before coming to the Warhol, Mr. Moore worked as the new business development director at the Persad Center, a counseling center that focuses on the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender community.
The Warhol’s director, Eric Shiner, praised Mr. Moore as a “consummate professional,” and added, “It doesn’t hurt that he’s suave and stylish – the perfect fit for The Warhol.”
In the release sharing the news, the new deputy director showed a bit of that style in four photobooth-style images, reproduced at left.
