Bloomberg reports that 24 sheep sculptures by Francois-Xavier Lalanne will be sold at Christie’s New York in November, from the collection of Adelaide de Menil, daughter of John and Dominique de Menil.
They’re expected to go for between $4 million and $6 million, with the proceeds to benefit the Rock Foundation. Ms. de Menil previously used them in a barn-style living room, as chairs. Read more here.
