Amy Winehouse Joins the Collection of London’s National Portrait Gallery

The National Portrait Gallery in London has acquired Marlene Dumas’s oil painting of the late singer Amy Winehouse, Amy-Blue.The portrait was made shortly after Winehouse’s death in 2011. It will be on view starting Monday, and has an entire wall devoted to it in the gallery.
