LD 34 state Senate candidate Mark Alexander was on the campaign trail this morning, canvassing the Montclair Train Station in his hometown.
Alexander, former state director of the 2008 Barack Obama presidential campaign, is challenging veteran state Sen. Nia Gill (D-34), Montclair.
Asked what his message is on the trail, Alexander spokesman Matthew Jordan said, “That the residents of the 34th District deserve better and that Senator Gill is no longer effective. We need more strong Democratic voices standing up to Governor Christie, and a State Senator more interested in getting things done than making back room political deals. That he offers a new voice that can bring about more effective representation and constituent services, which have been neglected under Senator Gill.”
