One day, in the near future, babies will be born with webcams implanted into their cerebral cortexes which allow them to automatically broadcast to the web every single mundane moment of their tiny baby lives. Until then, we have young YouTube users, who upload cute and quirky videos to the platform with the hopes of gaining more followers and perhaps a sliver of microfame.
A youngster named Pickle Davidson, for example, decided to highlight his rap skills by showcasing them with a song called “The Internet.”
The Internet! / a place to play all day / the Internet! / say what you have to say / the Internet! / a world of content / The Internet! / Check out this email I just sent.
“I hope you like this song,” he says by way of closing the video. “It’s called THE INTERNET. It’s about THE INTERNET.”
