Committed to medical marijuana, Christie doesn’t want Rocky Mtn pot policy in NJ

JERSEY CITY – Gov. Chris Christie bad mouthed Colorado this morning for legalizing marijuana, saying the Rocky Mountain state’s policy is what he wants to avoid in New Jersey.

Christie backs a medical marijuana bill but wants to make sure it contains measures that prevent abuse.

The governor said he doesn’t want someone from out of state coming across state lines complaining about a headache and going to a doctor for pot.

“It happens in Denver, Colorado every day,” Christie said at his press conference this morning.
