TRENTON – The Milltown Democratic Organization could be fined for failing to properly report six expenditures during the 2010 election cycle, according to a complaint filed by the state’s Election Law Enforcement Commission.
ELEC’s complaint alleges the organization and its treasurer, Kevin Bosworth, failed to file more than $4,400 worth of election expenditures in the days leading up to the 2010 General Election.
The total amount accounts for six expenditures, which were required to be reported within 48 hours of being spent.
Earlier this month, ELEC announced fining a New Jersey political action committee $25,200 for campaign finance infractions. The committee, Voice for all Hoboken, was fined for late filing of contributions and expenditures, failing to file 48-hour notices, failing to refund excessive contributions and for making excessive contributions.
