At least one person who had a post-MSNBC conversation with PolitickerNJ.com sees a budding Hillary Clinton in state Sen. Barbara Buono (D-18), who’s running against incumbent GOP Gov. Chris Christie.

But unlike Buono, who’s lagging behind the governor in statewide polls, a Quinnipiac Poll released today shows Clinton clobbering any of the top three Republican 2016 contenders, including Christie.

Clinton would defeat Sen. Marco Rubio 50%-34%, and Rep. Paul Ryan 50%-38. Christie would give her a tougher time, but still go down in defeat, 37%-45%.

The same poll shows Vice President Joe Biden losing to Christie 42-46% in a presidential contest.
