Tenant/landlord attorney fees, Lottery winners anonymity bill pass the Senate

Bills that would give tenants the right to sue their landlords for attorney’s fees and enabling Lottery winners to remain anonymous were passed by the Senate today.

Bill S2018, regarding attorney’s fees, that was sponsored by Sen. Brian Stack, received bipartisan support, with a 31-3 vote.

And, the Lottery anonymity bill, S2226, sponsored by Sen. JIm Whelan (D-2) Atlantic City,  passed unanimously, 40-0.
