Codey says he’s staying out of LD34 hornet’s nest

CEDAR GROVE – State Sen. Dick Codey (D-27) says he intends to remain neutral in the LD 34 flare-up that boils down to state Sen. Nia Gill (D-34) versus challenger Mark Alexander and East Orange mayoral challenger Lester Taylor against incumbent Mayor Bob Bowser.

Gill is lined up with Taylor.

Alexander is bound to Bowser.

“I have too many friends in that one,” Codey said. “I’m not getting involved.”
