The Humane Society Legislative Fund, a national organization, has announced it is endorsing Senator Raymond Lesniak (D-20) for re-election because of his “strong leadership on animal welfare issues.”
As the chair of the State Senate’s Economic Growth committee, Lesniak has sponsored and supported important animal welfare law including pending legislation that would ban the cruel confinement of pregnant pigs in New Jersey.
