TRENTON – Treasurer Andrew Sidamon-Eristoff said NJTV could expect to receive $2 million this year, the same amount that was budgeted last year.
Assemblyman John Burzichelli, (D-3), of Paulsboro asked why that budget line item was “open ended” in the fiscal year 2014 budget.
But the treasurer told Assembly Budget Committee members the TV station can expect to receive the same amount.
“(We’ll) probably provide the same amount of resources as last year,” he said.
NJTV took over shortly after NJN went off the air, after the Senate failed to pass a resolution that would have saved it.
