TRENTON – Hours after announcing his plan to introduce a revised tax cut proposal, Gov Chris Christie got out in front of the cameras in Trenton but declined to take questions from reporters.

Christie had a Monday morning appearance in the Statehouse to sign a resolution congratulating Israel for 65 years of statehood. He gave a brief statement before stepping away from the lectern and fielding any questions from reporters.

Earlier this morning, Christie announced he plans to introduce language for a revised tax cut proposal.

Senate President Steve Sweeney was present for the signing, but told reporters he will comment later in the day. Tax cut questions absent from Christie resolution signing
