Andrews to break bread with the Prez

U.S. Rep. Rob Andrews, who in December was elected by his colleagues as co-chairman of the Steering and Policy Committee for the 113th Congress, will dine with the President tonight at the Jefferson Hotel.

Andrews and the President will be joined by the Democratic leadership team including House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, Minority Whip Steny Hoyer, Assistant Democratic Leader Jim Clyburn, House Democratic Caucus Chairman Xavier Becerra, Democratic Caucus Vice Chairman Joe Crowley, U.S. Rep. Chris Van Hollen, U.S. Rep. Rosa DeLauro, U.S. Rep. and Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee Chairman Steve Israel and U.S. Rep. Mike Thompson.

Andrews is still under the cloud of an ethics investigation stemming from allegations that he has misused his campaign finance account for personal expenses such as vacations and parties.
